Bob first expressed an interest in being a DJ while stationed overseas in the US Army in 1971. After his return to civilian life, Bob began DJ'ing social events, school dances, and weddings, and has been either a part-time or full time Mobile Entertainer ever since. In 2005 Bob was named the Wedding Professional of the year by the Professional Wedding Guild of Tampa Bay and the Perfect Wedding Guide.
